Josiah was born 30 March 1803 in Bennington, Bennington, Vermont and married 23 April 1820, Lucy Jane STOWE, in Genesee County, New York. She was born in about 1807 in Marlborough, Hartford, Connecticut, and died in 12 October 1887 in Powhatan Twp., Pocahontas, Iowa. Josiah died in 22 May 1889 in the same place.

Message: Looking for information on Josiah Shaw born March 23, 1803
in Bennington, Bennington, VT. He died in Plover, Pocahontas
County, Iowa in 1890. He was the child of Josiah Shaw born
in the period between 1757 and 1759 who married Rebecca born
in 1759 and died in July of 1812. Please let me know if you
can find anything - Census info from the 1800 Bennington
County VT would be wonderful. I am trying to indicate children
of Josiah and Census and or birth records would be the best.
