He was born 17 April 1785, in New London, New London, Connecticut and died 24 September 1852 in Flint, Genesee, Michigan. Phebe died 4 October 1837 in Springfield, Oakland, Michigan.

Jonathan Bishop (1754-1840) served on various alarms from Montville, Conn., where he was born and died.Richard Waite, (1711-90) in 1777 was appointed Justice of the Peace from New London, Conn. He was born and died in Lyme, Conn.
Richard Waite, Jr. (1739-1810), served as captain in the 3rd regiment, Connecticut milita, and, 1781, rose to the rank of major. He was born and died in Lyme, Conn.
Stephen Allen (1730-1803) served in Capt. James Dana's company for seacoast defense. He was born and died in Montville, Conn.
Thomas Stevens (1741-1823) was a civil officer, 1781, from Killingworth, Conn., where he was born and died.
Jeremiah Buel, Jr. (1742-1818), served as a private in Captain Bristol's company, Connecticut militia, 1779, which marched to repel the enemy at New Haven. He was born and died in Killingworth, Conn.
