Moses A. was born 17 February 1834; in South Lyon, Oakland, Michigan and married first 29 October 1863 in Corunna, Shiawassee, Michigan Betsey Marcelia BELDEN She was born 2 April 1836 in Macomb County, Michigan, and died 13 May 1867. He married second Emma C. SESSIONS. She was born September 1844 in Ohio, and died about 1913. Moses died about 1912 or 1913 in Corunna, Shiawassee, Michigan.

There were no children by the second marriage, and his child from his first marriage Joseph Alton was brought up by his grandfather Joseph Randolph THOMPSON.
