Morton was born 20 January 1932 in Kendall, Van Buren, Michigan, and married Luella AKRIGHT the dauthter of Lloyd E. and Maude AKRIGHT She was born 19 January 1932 in Michigan.
Mr. Lloyd E. Akright, Rte 2, Gobles, Mich. Passed away Wednesday morning at Bronson Hospital. Mr. Akright was born Dec 26, 1904 in Sodus, and lived in the Gobles area for 40 years, where he was engaged in farming. Surviving are his wife, Maude; one son, William of Gobles; 2 daughters, Mrs. Mort (Luella) Westcott of Gobles and Mrs. Gary (Susan) Pelfresne of Otsego; 7 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Lewis of Bell City, Fla., George of Dowagiac, Robert of Lansing and Raymond of St. Joseph. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at the Gobles Chapel of the Robbins Funeral Home, where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., Rev. Paul Armstom officiating. Interment in Kendall Cemetery. those wishing, may make memorials to the Nephrology Unit, Borgess Hospital, envelopes available at the funeral home. Source: Kalamazoo Gazette Wed 29 Sept 1976.
