BENTON HARBOR - Landis H. Ziegert, 96, of Benton Harbor died Dec. 4, 1999, at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Riverview Cemetery's Columbarium, St. Joseph. Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church, St. Joseph.

Mr. Ziegert was born Feb. 18, 1903, in Watervliet, and remained in this area his entire life. He worked at Watervliet Paper Mill for 23 years prior to working as an assembler at Clark Equipment Co. for more than 25 years. He retired in 1968.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Ziegert, on Aug. 9, 1990; and by two brothers - Harry and William Ziegert; and by four sisters - Minnie Staudinger, Elizabeth B. Robertson, Ida B. Ziegert and Alma Hughes.
