Mort's Uncle Orrin Johnson was born in Casco township? near South Haven in 1893. He went to Chicago at an early age where he met his future wife Ethel W. (bd 1893 also). They moved to Gobles some time in the 1940's and settled in a house one block from the local bank which is on the four corners of the main intersection of Gobles. They had one adopted son, George (bd Jan 19, 1926). George married Helen I Green (bd Feb 13 1927). Helen died Jan 22, 2005 and is buried in the same lot as Ethel (died in 1950) and Uncle Orrin died May 14, 1965). They are intered in the Robinson cemetary on M40 just South of Gobles. George susrvives, living some where out West.
