Francis was born about 1856 in , , Ohio and married 14 February 1886 in Edmore, Montcalm, Michigan, Allie M NORTON the daughter of Syvester Norton and Hannah E GIBBS. She was born 10 June 187O in , , Michigan and died. Francis died 18 November 1893 in the poor house in , Montcalm, Michigan.

Looking for any info on Francis G. Caldwell and Allie M. Norton. They were married in Edmore, MI on February 14, 1886 and had 3 children. Francis contracted TB and was forced to go to the county poor farm. They gave up the rights to their kids. Their youngest, a boy named Charles, was adopted at the age of 3 by a couple (Cleveland) in lower northern Michigan. He was my grandfather. Francis died in Montcalm County Poor Farm in 1893. Allie was 24 years old at that time. I have been unable to trace her. Any info on either the side would be welcome.
