He was born about 1815 in Path Valley, Franklin, Pennsylvania, and died 20 September 1893, in Melvern, Osage, Iowa. Roxanna died 11 April 1850, in Elmwood, Peoria, Illinois.

Note       The 1850 census lists John ALDRICH, age 19, born in Vermont, living with them he
        is a son of her father's second wife Almira (CHAMBERLIN) ALDRICH and her first
        husband Jamon ALDRICH.
