Hiram was born 25 September 1810, Broome, Schoharie, New York, the son of Seth GRIFFIN and Esther Bradley ALDERMAN, and married about 1837, Laporte, Laporte, Indiana, Hellen M^cCALL, the daughter of John M^cCALL and Nancy DEUEL. She was born 29 May 1818 in Hebron, Washington, New York, and died 21 April, 1904 in Monroe, Green, Wisconson. Hiram died 3 December 1889, in Casco Twp., Allegan, Michigan, and they both are buried in South Haven, Van Buren, Michigan.
