He was born 2 November 1829 in Johnsburg, Warren, New York and died 20 May 1912 in Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa. Eliza Ann died between 31 May 1881.
John married second Marietta V _______. She was born 5 August 1842 in Pennsylvania and died 11 Aug 1892, in Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa. They had one daughter Ruth E born 25 April, died 27 April 1884, in Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa.
