She was born March 1676, in Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut, and died before 1706. Gershom married second by 1706, in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut. Rachel TALCOTT, the daughter of John TALCOTT and Mary COOK. She was born 23 Februaru 1682 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut, and died before 1753 in Fairfield county, Connecticut.

(Capt.) Gershom BULKLEY (Peter2 Peter1), born at (Fairfield, conn.?), [say 1676] died at Fairfield, 9 April 1753; married first at Norwalk, Connecticut about 1700, Eunice HANFORD, born at Norwalk March 1676, died by 1706; married second, by 1706, Rachel TALCOTT, born at Hartford, Connecticut,23 February 1681/2, died before 1753.

The Will of Gershom, dated 5 April 1753, proved 30 April 1753; daughters Eunice, Rachel and Grace, £100 apiece; sons Gershom, Hezekiah, Peter, and Talcott.

Gershom BULKLEY of Fairfield and Eunice BULKLEY his daughter conveyed, 22 January 1722/3, interest in Norwalk property which came by Gershom's former wife Eunice, who was one of the daughters of Rev. Thomas HANFORD.

His second wife, mother of the rest of his children, was a daughter of Lt.-Col. John TALCOTT of Hartford and a half sister of Gov. Joseph TALCOTT.

Colonial Records. He was commissioned Quartermaster of the Troop of Horse in FairfieldCounty, October 1718; Cornet of the same, October 1722; and Captain, May 1726. In 1731 he served on a committee appointed by the Assembly to select a site fot the meeting-house in New Canaan parish.
