Samuel was born about 1659 or 1660, in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts, and married about 1685, of Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut, Elizabeth HILLS the daughter of John HILLS and Margaret DIX. She was born 8 October 1666 in Windsor, Hartford Connecticut and died before 1694 in Hartford Connecticut.

Samuel married second 23 April 1694 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut, Deborah BARTLETT the daughter of Benjamin BARTLETT and Deborah BARNARD. She was born 3 April 1666 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut, and died 29 August 1753 Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut. Deborah was the widow of Jeremiah GILLET, and had 4 children by him as follows:

1. Rachel   GILLET married 3 Jan 1705/06 Zerubabel FILIER.
2. Deborah  GILLET born  6 Aug 1686    in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.
                   died 22 Apr 1693    in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.
2. Abigail  GILLET born 21 Feb 1686/87 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.
                   died 16 Feb 1688/89 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.
4. Jaremiah GILLET born About  1690    in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.
                   died 21 Apr 1692    in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.

Colonial Families in the U.S

GEORGE ADAMS and his wife Frances settled in Watertown, Mass., 1645. On 4th November, 1664, he sold his house and lands in Watertown and moved to “Cambridge Farms,” near Lexington. Was killed by the fall of a rock 10th October, 1696.

              d. young.
  II. George, b. 1647;
              m. 10th June, 1684, Martha FISKE.
 III. DANIEL, b. 1652; settled at Simsbury, Conn.
  IV. John,   b. 6th March, 1657;
              d. 22d November, 1732;
      moved to Simsbury, Conn., where he
              m. 6th December, 1677, Abigail PINNEY.
      Moved to Enfield, Conn., 1697, thence to Colchester, Conn., where he
          died.
   V. Samuel, 
      settled in Simsbury, Conn., where he 
              m. Elizabeth HILL, dau, of Luke HILL.
  VI. Mary, bap. 21st November, 1686, in Watertown, Mass.
