John Thomas FORREST Married between 1851 and 1856 an Ann CHARLATINE, as a Church census dated 1 June 1856 lists John Thomas FORREST with wife Ann CHARLATINE, sons Alphonso and Lorenzo and an adopted daughter Caroline. and died 22 Sep 1878 in Murray Twp., Northumberland, Ontario, Canada.
The first mention of John Thomas FORREST in the land and property records for Murray township is his purchase of Lot 6 1st consession on 4 November 1842. He sold part of this as mentioned above in 1844. John T Forrest, with his brothers, Edmund Forrest, and James Forrest, sold land to the Grand Trunk Western Railroad on 26 October 1849 and it was registered on 31 November 1849. Other land & property records state that he sold property in Trenton in 1868 it also states that he is of Murray township Northumberland County, Ontario. He is last mentioned in the land and Property records in 1876. His will is dated 24 July 1878 and proved 22 October 1878.
