Hi, I stumbled upon this site. My name is Kamberly Anne Palmer. My maiden name is Wong. I am the second daughter of Dr. Herbert H. Wong and Marilyn (Reese) Wong. Dr. Herbert & Marilyn Wong still live in Menlo Park, California.

My Grandma was Myrtle (Pierce) Reese. She has passed away and did so four or five years ago here in California of Alzheimers.

I was born on October 8, 1978 in Berkeley, California. I am currently 25 years old and married March 25, 2002 to Michael Lynn Palmer son of Dr. Darwin Palmer and Carolyn Palmer of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I live in San Francisco, California.

I have a suffer from a chronic pain condition (spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease and have 2 herniated discs) and have so for about 5 years. This is something that seems to run in the family on my mom's side. Marilyn (mom) has had back problems and a surgery that fixed her back about 8 years ago. My sister has a missing tailbone and has a few problems with that as well as my cousons Alex and her kids have the missing tailbone. Both my parents are living.

I have an older sister, Kira Lynn (Wong) Sconduto who was born in June of 1973 and she is 30 years old. She is married to Martin Sconduto.

I am interested in learning more about my relatives as my parents had me at an older age in their life and although many have passed away, there is still a lot of information and stories out there and also many living that I have never met or possibly even heard of.

My Grandma's passing was devistating to me because she was my second mother! She was my dancing Grandma and the only grandparent I ever got the pleasure of meeting! As you probably know my Grandma, we called her None (Myrtle Reese-Pierce) was a ballerina dancer with the Greenwhich Village Follies where she met her husband (my Grandpa) Claude Reese, he was a singer and songwriter with the Follies. My Grandma did not graduate from high school or college she was able to join the Follies in her teens. Many years later after having Marilyn there was a fire in their apartment builiding, the smoke inhalation killed Claude. My Grandma was forced to work to jobs and become a single parent! She worked in retail environments and lived with my mom in New York and Chicago and later Northern California.

After a car accident, my mom decided to change her acting career choice to become a teacher. She received her college degree from CAL Berkeley. She is now a 1st grade teacher in Menlo Park. She plans to retire in the next two years as she is suffering a bit with arthritis and hand and wrist stress injuries and plans to get a few surgeries on both hands in the near future. We are all reasonably healthy!
