James Alphonso was born 9 June 1841 and christened at St. Micchael the Arch Angel Parish in Bellville, Hastings, Ontario, Canada. He married first an unknown lady in Canada. He emmigrated to Chicago, Cook, Illinois, about 1871 where he married second Gertrude Emilie Blanch POWELL the daughter of Richard POWELL and Emilie Anne FISHER 2 March 1880. She went by Blanch and was born 9 December 1848 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. They moved to the US in about 1858. She died at her daughter's home in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconson, on 7 April 1923. James Alponso died 8 April 1908, in Austin, Cook, Illinois.

Note Emily A is Emily Ann FISHER daughter of Joseph and Esther FISHER and Eliza is
her sister. I cannot tell if she is Eliza or Elizabeth because of the age given.
Eliza is age 7 in 1841 English census. Elizabeth age 2 in 1841 and age 11 in 
1851 the only other places I find thes girls in any records.
Blanch is Blanch POWELL sister of Walter and Step Daughter of Rufus HOUSE
