Uriah, was born 24 February 1741, in Northfield, Fairfield, Massachusetts, and married about 1767or 1772 in Newbury, Orange County, Vermont, Rachel COLBY. She was born About 1744 to 1746.
Note: Very little is known about Uriah's family. His "pitch" at Newbury was Lot 9 on Musquash Meadow. He served during a large part of the Revolutionary War and is said to have settled in the northeast part of Ryegate (about 20 miles north of Newbury). The 1771 census give him as head of a family.

My notes indicate that Uriah headed a household in 1771 (where?); in Newbury, Orange Co., VT 1790 Census (1-2-4); and in 1800 there, with 1 male under 10, 1 16-25, 2 45+; 1 female under 10, 1 26-44, 1 45+. "Some of numerous Chamberlain families in northern part of State prove descendancy from him." His 1813 will bequeathed to 3 daughters: Hannah Bayley, Anna Cotes, & Lovise; son David (& his daughter Betsy & son G---); son James, and son John. You haven't provided any identifying dates or places, but I do have a couple in New England with these names listed in my Chamberlain research database. Hannah6 Chamberlain, b. 4 Mar 1773, Newbury, Orange Co., VT, d. 6 Jul 1842, m. c1791, @ Grafton Co., NH, Jacob Bailey, b. 9 Mar 1769, Newbury, VT, son of Ephraim & Ann (Fowler) Bailey/Bayley. I have 11 children listed for them. This was her second marriage, according to researcher Prentiss Glazier, but I don't know the name of her first husband or whether they had any children. Jacob & Hannah Bailey lived in North Haverhill & Littleton, NH. Hannah is mentioned in her father's 1813 Will. Hannah is one of six children of Uriah5 Chamberlain, b. 28 Feb 1741/42, Northfield, MA, who d. bef. 25 May 1813 in Ryegate, Caledonia Co., VT, who m. Rachel Colby, c 1772 in Orange Co., VT.
