I don't have any biographical information on Dale Solomon CHAMBERLIN, so I hope that some of your cousins respond to your message with that info. What I do have is Dale's lineage on back, derived from rather detailed data posted in the IGI records (Mormon online site) that you can review for yourself. The IGI lists birth & marriage data for Dale, his wife Dorothy May SHORES, & 4 children; also the same type of info. for his father, Horace Fenton CHAMBERLIN, b. 17 Aug 1870, East Ryegate, Caledonia Co., VT, with wife Mabel Louisa FOLSOM, & 4 children listed. It also lists Horace's father, Solomon CHAMBERLIN, b. 25 Apr 1827, Ryegate,VT, & his wife Martha McCOLL/McCOLE (no dates), and their 5 children. My notes indicate that the FOLSOM Family genealogy (not seen) lists them as Horace's parents. The next generation back is Reuben CHAMBERLAIN , b. c1792, Newbury, Orange Co., VT, d. 14 Feb 1883, Ryegate, who was m., 3 Feb 1820, at Bath, Grafton Co., NH, to Martha SANBORN, b. 4 Mar 1797, Bath, NH, d. 21 July 1866; 9 children listed. Reuben is listed in the 1820 & 1830 Census at Ryegate, then 1840-1860 in Barnet, Caledonia Co., VT. The 1850 Census lists his family, including son Solomon, age 23, b. VT. Reuben's father, Err, was a Rev. War sergeant from VT, whose service is listed in D.A.R. records.
