James CHAMBERLAIN
and
Emily B. PARKER

James was born about 1833, in McIndoes Falls, Caledonia, Vermont, and married 18 September 1861, in Caledonia County, Vermont, Emily B. PARKER. She was of Lowell, Vermont. He died 1875 in California.

CHAMBERLAIN

James, went to California; returned and married 18 September 1861;
       Emily B. Parker of Lowell, Vermont; lived at McIndoes Falls,
       a year or more; went to California. He died and she  returned
       to Vermont, with 4 children. She married 2nd George Mustard of
       Maine; returned to Lowell, Vermont after he died; married 3rd
       Richard Welman. Children: Harry, professor at Dartmouth; and
       Theda, married       Twombly, druggist at Waterbury, Vermont. 
       (Lee Welman, son of former wife, is customs officer at Newport.)
       He died and she married 4th       Smith of Orleans, Vermont,
       who died July 1921. She is still Living a remarkable woman, 
       full of fun  and energy.

                  (of Epping New Hampshire, two Children.
   4. MAY FRANCES b:            ; 
                  (a nurse in New York City.
