Sarah was born about 1779, in Newbury, Orange, Vermont, and married first about 1800 in Newbury, Orange, Vermont, Calvin TITUS the son of Samuel TITUS and Ann BIGELOW. He was born 22 May 1777, in Bath, Grafton, New Hampshire, and died 15 January 1819 in Lyman, Grafton, New Hampsire.
She married second 25 December 1825, Benjamin SHERMAN, the son of Samuel SHERMAN and Mary CORARY. Benjamin was born 1774 and died 3 March 1829 in Lyman. He married first Mary W. TITUS the sister of Calvin they had the following children: Smith b: 25 Feb 1804; Benjamin M. b: 6 Jun 1806 d: 1884; Daniel; Sophronia; Mary Ann; Laura; and Calvin.
There are no known children from this second marriage

Sarah died about 1857.
Samuel TITIS moved to Bath from Rhode Island and settled on the Harris farm. About 1782 he moved to Lanaff,where he held many offices of trust. He came to Lyman in 1805,where he reared a family of eight chilren, namely: Eleazer, Samuel, John, Luther, Calvin, (married Sarah CHAMBERLAIN) Mary (married Benjamin SHERMAN. He married 2nd Sarah TITUS widow of Calvin) and two others. He died in 1818, at the age of 85.
Calvin TITUS, son of Samuel, was born May 22, 1777, and died January 15, 1819. He lived for many years on the farm once owned by Dr. Samuel HOSKINS on the road under the mountain. He had born to him six sons an two daughters, namely: Calvin Jr., Rufus, Lucy, Moses, Phineas, Ira, and Betsy. Moses died in 1899, at the age of 91.
John Smith TITUS, son of Samuel, live for many years in South eastern part of town near Lisbon village. He reared a family of 6 sons, namely: Asher, Jason, Jeremy, John, Merrill, and Calvin.
