Warren was born 15 November 1829 in Greig, Lewis, New York the son of Joshua Clarke PARKER and Mary Huntington ABBEY, and married first 3 December 1851 in Michigan Rosalita Adeline SNOVER, the daughter of Samuel K. and Phoebe SNOVER, She was born 16 May 1631, in Hardwich, Warren, New Jersey, and died 5 November 1861 in Chesterfield, Macomb, Michigan.
He married second 9 November 1865, Mary Arvilla, CARPENTER the daughter of William CARPENTER and Nancy Catherine DOLPH. She was born 20 April 1846 in Howell, Livingston, Michigan, and died 3 October 1871. in South Lyon, Oakland, Michigan.
He married third 22 October 1872, in Michigan, Helen Miranda CARPENTER the sister of his second wife. She was born 11 October 1850 in Lyon Twp., Oakland, Michigan, and died 2 June 1928, in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. Warren died 16 Sepeember 1923 in Chesterfield, Macomb, Michigan.
Warren was born in Greig, N.Y., but moved with his parents and younger brother Orville to Waterloo, N.Y., then on to Michigan, arriving Aug. 11, 1833. He grew up in Chesterfield Twp. and attended Ypsilanti State Normal College. He was a farmer, school teacher, school inspector, highway commissioner, Justice of the Peace, and was elected to two terms as State Representative in 1878 and 1880. He was also a writer and historian.

Cemetery is located on Chesterfield Road, (west side) north of 24 Mile Road. There was a cemetery on Gratiot at 24 Mile Road at an early date. Possibly, with the widening of Gratiot, the graves would have been moved to the Hart Cemetery.
