Bert was born 3 January 1882 in Romald Twp., Iona, Michigan and married first in Ionia County, Michigan 1909 Inez WALDRON. She was born 1894 in Michigan, and died in 1912 probably from complications of giving birth to Berts son Albert age 8 in the 1920 Census.
He married second some time between when Inez died in 1912 and the birth of his daughter in about 1914, Mabelle HERRICK. She was born 1886 in Michigan and died 27 August 1954. They were divorced before 1920
He married third 1 September 1934, Amy Alberta ARCHER the daughter of George Walker ARCHER and Mary Arabelle FILKINS. She was born 24 September 1885 and died 6 August 1987.
Bert died in 11 June 1971 in East Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan, and is buried in Rest Lawn Mem. Park, Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan.
