Heyman was born about 1590 in Herwijnen, Gelderland, Netherlands and married about 1616, in , Gelderland, Netherlands, Eijken Janse KUIJST the daughter of Jan Anthonisz KUIJST and Mariken Aertse WILLEMS. She was born about 1592 in Andel, Noord Brabant, Netherlands, and died.

Found on tax rolls at Andel, North Brabant in 1608 and 1614. Source: Alphen, van, Evert, "Het Geslacht Rosa" The Family Rosa, Gens Nostra, January 1965 p.22-25. On 4 Mar 1626 Heijman Gijsbertsen was charged 25 guilders to the two minor children of Walraven van Heijdenwijck (probably as lord) for two certain properties. Source: ORA Tuil (Bank of Tuil). His children, by unknown woman, are included below (BK2428, BK3804, Bk3805, Bk3806).

Another possible son: Gijsbert Heijmans Rosa.
