Samuel was christened 17 August 1628 in Bosworth, Leicestershire, England and married 8 July 1656, in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusets Sarah KEYES the daughter of Robert KEYES and Sarah _______. She was born 26 May 1633 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts and died 7 July 1707 in Bradford, Essex, Massachusetts. Samuel died 7 July 1704, in Bradford, Essex, Massachusetts.

Samuel BUSWELL, the son of Elizabeth and Isaac BUSWELL, Sr.. He was bp. August 17, 1628 in Husband's Bosworth Parish, Leicestershire, England. According to Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts, USA records he was born in 1628 (most probably in Husband's Parish, Leicester, County, England). Samuel arrived in Massachusetts in 1638/9 with his parents, and married Sarah Keyes (daughter of Robert and Sarah Keyes of Watertown, Massachusetts. She was born March 26, 1633 in Watertown and she died sometime after 1704.) After marriage Samuel and Sarah settled in Salisbury, where they lived until 1662, and probably as late as 1669. In 1670 Samuel was listed as living in Boxford, Essex, Massachusetts. In March of 1671 Samuel "whose last name had been changed to BOSWELL" laid out fifty-three acres of land in Rowley, Essex Massachusetts, "bounded on the north by the Merrimack River and at the river it was 24 1/2 poles wide." Samuel and his wife were members of the Church of Rowley. Later he was living in Andover, Essex, Massachusetts in 1696, and then they later finally moved to Bradford, Essex, Massachusetts "where they remained." According to the records, it was "through Samuel that the name BUSWELL has been carried on." His brother William didn't have any children, but his brother Isaac had two daughters. Samuel died on July 7, 1704 in Bradford, Mass., and although his wife Sarah survived him, the exact date of her death is unknown. His will was proved on July 27, 1704. It mentions his wife and the names of his brothers-in-law, Solomon Keyes and John Boynton as overseers of that will.
