John B. was born 31 December 1949 and married Toni POPPE. John died May 2001, in Eaton Rapids, Eaton, Michigan.

McCOOK Obit.

McCOOK, JOHN (BOBBY) JACK Aged 52, of Eaton Rapids, has made his journey to his heavenly home to be with the ``Big Guy,'' our Savior. John was born in Lansing on December 31, 1948. He served his country in the Navy during the Viet Nam War and has been employed at Meijers Distribution Center in Lansing for the past 21 years. John moved to Eaton Rapids in 1989. His kind and gentle nature, his laughter and humor and his green and white spirit will be remembered and missed by those who knew and loved him. From his heavenly home he is watching over his family, whom include his wife, Toni (Poppe) McCook; six children, Jennifer (McCook) Stepper, Jacqueline McCook, Brandi McCook, Joanna McCook, John McCook and Melissa McCook; mother and father, Elsie and John McCook of Lake Odessa; brother, Jim; sisters, Judy and Joanna; six grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Dion, Stephine, Mandy and Mattew; and many nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 8, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of the Nazarene in Eaton Rapids. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids. Memorial contributions can be made to the Eaton Rapids Church of the Nazarene on behalf of John and his family
