Clinton, July 30
James H. McCook, 58 years old, died this morning at 5 o'clock in the Tecumseh hospital after being in failing health for some time. He resided on the Clinton-Macon Road.
He was a member of the Fredrick E. Pieper post of the American Legion and the River Raisin Riders post of the V.F.W.
Surviving are the widow Hazel; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Goheen of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Mary Kelly of Detroit and Mrs. Ellen Sherman of Dearborn; two half-brothers, Robert McCook and Jack McCook of Lansing. A sister Mrs. Bessie Trombley and his parents preceded him in death.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2:30 at the Hause Funeral Home. The burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
