Richard was born 12 September 1670 in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts and married about 1693 in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts, Mary COLLINS, the daughter of Samuel Edward COLLINS and Mary MARVIN. She was born 16 June 1672 in Middletown, Middlesex, Massachusetts and died 12 July 1768 in Oxford, Worcester, Massachusetts. Richard died 17 November 1767 in Oxford, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Note:
Bought land in Oxford in August of 1714. He continued to buy land there, and finally ended up as the largest landowner in the southern part of the town. He was the second licensed innowner, the first Justice of the Peace, and also the first Representative. He was also the town Cler, Selectman and Treasurer.
