She was born 24 February 1776 in Canaan, Columbia, New York and died 20 May 1839 in Saint Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri. Jared died 5 November 1839 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.

Note: Charity Dickenson (b. 1776) md. Cornelius Peter Lott (1798-1850), January 22, 1846 in Nauvoo. (source: “Records of Early Church Families,” April 1936, 81) .She was a plural wife. He had six other wives. Charity was 69 years old at the time of that marriage. They had no children. She died in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1849. Cornelius continued on to Utah where he died in 1850. It is probable that she was not living with him at the time of her death. She was living in St. Joseph, Missouri with her son Anson. It is unlikely that he with seveal minor Children

His middle initial N comes from the 1880 US census. An entry in Ancestry's
OneWorldTree has his middle name as "Edmund."
