Smith born 27 February 1774 in Alfird, Berkshire, Massachusets and married 12 October 1796 in Bloomfield, Ontario, New York, Martha TURNER the daughter of Peter TURNER and Mindwell ROWLEY. She was born 1 December 1775 in West Stockbridge, Berkshire, Massachusetts and died 4 September 1836. Smith died 6 August 1831.

Note:
Although many of Smith Wilcox's children are described by various researchers as being born in East or West Bloomfiled Township of Ontario County, New York, the various townships were not broken out of the original Bloomfield Township until 1833. Therefore, all of Smith's children who were born in New York State were actually born in Bloomfield Township.
